Is there a minimum age to be eligible for the trip? Everybody signing up for the tour must be 18+.
Is it safe? Travelling overseas always presents certain risks. Thailand and its islands are extremely safe and with a large group its highly unlikely your safety will be an issue.

Why July? We have chosen July being the middle of winter in Melbourne. What better way to escape the depressing cold. Being high season on Koh Samui it’s a lively time of the year and the weather - although not 100% predictable – is generally near perfect.
I can plan my own trip and still hang out with the everybody tour cant I? We cannot stop anyone from planning their own overseas trip. Koh samui wont be exclusive to “EVERYBODY ON TOUR” but the pros of being apart of the tour far outweigh the cons. Where is the full moon party held? The island of Koh Phangan is approx 45 mins by ferry from kohl samui. It is predominantly a backpackers haven but rapidly growing in popularity to all parts of the commercial world. Very laid back but very much a party island. What happens at the full moon party ? Two words – organized chaos. It is a must for every person who likes to party visiting Thailand that they experience a full moon dance party. With an average monthly crowd of 25,000 tourists from all parts of the globe.It is the ultimate beach party with dance stages lined up with different styles of music over a half kilometer stretch of beach. What are the thai people like? In our experience one of the friendliest race of people on our planet. It is rare to see a thai person without a smile on their face. They are simple,hardworking and very honest. They thrive on tourism and are happy to help where they can.
How much spending money will I need? That depends on the individual but rest assured you will be well prepared and informed as we will have available price guides for you once committing to the tour. Restaurant menus,day trips,alcohol prices,shopping advice,taxi fares,activities etc.
Do I need travel insurance? We recommend travel insurance to anyone when travelling overseas however its not compulsory. Being on the everybody tour does not mean you are covered by insurance should anything unfortunate happen. Scooter accidents,theft,loss of passport,sickness are all common occurances anywhere in the world. Everybody tour organizers will do their best to assist where possible but will not be financially responsible for any losses. (see terms and conditions)
Do I need any injections? Again recommended but not compulsory. Only you the individual knows what your body can handle. Its common for anyone to fall ill from all sorts of bugs,weather changes,insect bites,viruses etc. Its also very common to go to Thailand and come back completely unscathed. Your doctor is your best advisor on this one.
How much do I pack? We recommend as little as possible. It’s a tropical island. There a very few (if any) dress codes in bars / clubs / restaurants and with the inevitable amount of shopping to be done,the more room in the suitcase the better. Each resort also has a highly efficient laundry service for those in need.
Whats the weather like in July? We use terms such as “high season”, “low season”, “wet season” etc. Among other factors,the weather is a major indicator as to what season it currently is. July in Koh Samui is classed as high season. It experiences a major European tourist boom and the weather - although not at its hottest – usually sits around 30 – 32 deg. Blue skies and sunshine are common and the water temp makes it swimmable 24/7.
Is the food safe to eat? There is literally something for everyone. You can dine in the finest restaurants with unparalleled views to anything around the globe or you can take the rough and ready approach of macdonalds,burger king,kfc etc. You can try authentic or play it safe with western cuisine. Each resort also has a restaurant / bar which is very competitively priced. French, fries, hamburgers, salads, steaks, curries, vegetarian and anything else that’s edible are served all over the island and 100% safe. Ps. The world renowned seafood will fall straight off the boat onto your plate. The freshest you’ve ever had.
Is the water safe to drink? We highly recommend not drinking any water from the taps. There is enough bottled water offered at ridiculously cheap prices to drink,brush teeth etc. The tap water is fine for showers and laundry but to drink its an unknown that we’d prefer no one tests.
Will my accommodation be clean? When pricing this trip we were very meticulous in choosing accommodation. Lots of boxes needed to be ticked to fit our criteria but two stood out. Price affordability and cleanliness. We can honestly say we have found the balance with the resorts offered in the package. Location,air-conditioning,pool facilities,bathrooms,toilets and the list goes on,are all extremely important for anyone choosing where to say. Do I need a scooters licence to ride one over there? No scooters licence required but you will in most cases be asked to give up your passport whilst you have rented the scooter. A completely normal and safe practice.
In case of an accident are the hospitals clean? Many people including everybody organizers have seen the inside of a kohsamui hospital for various reasons ranging from scooter accidents (getting patched is the common term used),viruses and various other things where a hospital is needed. We can assure you the hospitals are clean,professionally run organizations where English is well spoken and the need for panic isn’t necessary.
Is my money refundable if I cant make it all of a sudden? Everybody events cannot be responsible for refunds for anybody who needs to cancel at anytime. There are certain terms and conditions that airlines have that we must enforce also. Some may offer different policies to others but they are open to anyone wishing to study them. In this case jetstar will clearly state what their policy on refunds is. The same rules apply to resorts. They all have different rules and regulations that will be left to the individual to research. We are available for any questions relating to these topics.
I am organizing a large group to come on tour. Any perks?
Most definitely yes. If you are the one who busts your guts all the time trying to organize events,outings,parties etc for your slack mates then we want you to benefit from your hard work. Speak to one of the tour organizers for full details on any incentives.
I've read the terms and conditions and don’t understand certain points? Whilst on tour it must be understood that you are representing a brand where reputation means a lot. Everybody events needs your full co-operation and agreement that you accept our own set of terms and conditions so as to protect the brand. Our aim is to provide you with the holiday of a lifetime filled with goodtimes,parties and all sorts of mayhem. Your part of the bargain is signing the agreement and playing within the rules. Again,every team member is well informed and ready to assist with anything which may be unclear.
What else is there to do other than partying every night? Koh samui is an island of abundant activity day and night. Activities such as snorkeling,jet skiing,elephant rides,quad bikes, golf on championship style courses,kite surfing etc. etc. etc. will keep you interested shld you have the discipline to wake up from a hard night out. Lets not forget the shopping, the restaurants or simply tanning by the pool which is as stressfull as it gets for some. Prior to boarding the plane,you will be well informed on activities. We plan to set up our very own tourist info/activity centre right here in Melbourne for all everybody travellers.
Whats the shopping like? Its common knowledge that Thailand is a famous for its islands,laid back lifestyle and designer shopping. All the big names at ridiculously cheap prices and a lot of fun to be had negotiating or bartering as its more commonly known. Pssssst. The fact that most of the stuff might be fake shldnt be an issue coz they are as close to the real thing as you could want. We wont tell if you don’t.
How do I negotiate prices?
It all starts with a browse. You will then be attended to within 5 seconds. You will ask how much,they will get their calculator and punch in an amount you’d be stupid to accept. They will hand you the calculator and you will punch in an amount they would be stupid to accept. You will go back and forth until a happy price is reached. Allow yourself 2 days to call yourself an expert. The golden rule never except the first offer.
Are the beaches good to swim in? We cannot emphasise enough how good the beaches are to swim 24/7. The water is usually at room temp and usually crystal clear. Its not a surf beach and definitely not rough. It must be said though that there is no lifesaving organization patrolling the beaches or flags within which to swim so a fair amount of caution and common sense is still needed.
What time are the clubs open til?
A couple of years ago the thai government brought in a 2am curfew across the board which in its early stages was a little damaging to its nightlife. Nowadays however the laws are a little more relaxed so its common to find a couple of the larger clubs such as the green mango,trading until 3am or solo bar which opens at midnight and calls last drinks at 6am. The everybody tour is based heavily on the day party concept. There will be plenty to do so when 3am comes along it will be curtains for most anyway…… Ok maybe not but you get the picture.
